The Gospel Music Association has announced the nominees for their 2026 Dove Awards, including the all-important Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year and Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year.

The winners will be announced and trophies awarded during the 57th GMA Dove Awards Show, to be held October 6 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

And the nominees are:

Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year

  • A God Thing – Chosen Road; Lee Black and Gina Moe (writers)
  • Above The Clouds – Eighteen Mile; Hallie Ritter (writer)
  • Broken Angels – The Grascals with Dolly Parton; Dolly Parton and Jamie Johnson (writers)
  • Camel Train – Becky Buller (featuring Ricky Skaggs, Sharon White, Cheryl White); Hansel Vibbert (writer)
  • I Am The One – Jeff Tolbert & Primitive Road; Richard VanCleve (writer)

Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year

  • American Morning: Side A (EP) – Chosen Road; Dave Clark (producer)
